Scrap is the primary refineable resource in Foxhole. It is used to make Basic Materials in a Manufacturing Plant. Those materials are used to make: structures, items, weapons, vehicles, and spawn supplies, forming the basis of Foxhole's economy.
Scrap is retrieved by harvesting a node of salvage. Similar to other resources, scrap spawns around its resource icon on the map. Salvage nodes appear as a pile of tires, sheet metal, and other pieces of junk. To collect scrap from salvage nodes, you need an equipped Hammer or a Sledge Hammer. Stand next to a salvage node, and left click in the direction of the node.
